With the increased use of digital marketing, companies and institutions are quickly leaning towards diversifying their portfolio of services to meet a wide range of demands in the market. The massive use of social media platforms has attracted and inspired Curiosity Ink Media, a producer of original multiplatform family entertainment and was recently acquired by Grom Social Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: GROM). And to demonstrate this inspiration, Curiosity has joined hands with Toon2Tango, whereby they will both work on developing Santa.com into an original animated musical holiday special.
Santa.com, Grom’s previously announced eCommerce initiative, tells the story of how Santa’s retirement results in a fully automated North Pole. Elves, Cyber Scrooge, Yo-Yo the Elf, and retired reindeer are some of the primary characters.
The World Needs a Fresh, Fun, and Inventive Take on Christmas
Curiosity’s efforts are to enhance a global reach in animation production. The global media company has strategic stewardship and partnerships, which often do not target Kids & Family entertainment. Meanwhile, the animated holiday special is expected to serve as a feature-length companion to the Santa.com website, which will become a virtual holiday hub after its launch in November 2021.
And like everyone looks forward to, Christmas should be a fresh, fun, and inventive season. Hence, the Santa.com website will showcase holiday-themed games, allow the users to tour the North Pole, and offer a one-stop-shopping spot. Users will also be able to send purchases and send personalized gifts from the comfort of their homes.
“We are very happy to partner with Curiosity on this very fresh approach to a Christmas Story,” Toon2Tango Chief Executive Officer Ulli Stoef reported.
It is worth mentioning that Grom Social provides entertainment content for children under 13 years of age. The content is safe and within secure digital environments for kids. The company operates Grom Social and Top Draw Animation. On the other hand, Toon2Tango specializes in IP creation and brand building within the kids and family entertainment sector. It is also strong international appeal and engagement in the co-financing and acquisition of quality programming.
